Mary Lin PTO

The Mary Lin Parent Teacher Organization's mission is to raise funds and manage parent volunteers to give our students the best learning environment possible, and we do this thanks to our community's generosity. We encourage you to join the Mary Lin Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), to consider donating to the Mary Lin PTO, and to volunteer with us.

The Mary Lin PTO works towards our mission by providing funds to the school and coordinating parent volunteers for:

  • Teacher support and appreciation like stipends for each teacher to supply their classroom, grants for teachers to attend conferences or get professional certifications, monthly staff lunches, and much more

  • Capital improvements to the school like the multi-year outdoor classroom project, playground upgrades, school beautification, and much more

  • Annual subscription costs for key classroom resources like Lexia and other key learning tools

  • Educational supplies like STEAM lab and art classroom supplies and grants for one-time purchases for classrooms (e.g. microscopes, Chromebooks)

  • Parent volunteer coordination for ongoing school needs such as room reps, parent-led school tours, and much more.

  • Funding and volunteer coordination for special events, like Field Day, Kindergarten splashdown, 5th grade graduation, community movie nights, Linapalooza, STEAM night, Art night, and much more.

When great teachers have first-rate resources at their fingertips, we can reach for the stars! We will hold our first general membership meeting of the PTO after the 2025/2026 school year starts where we'll share details of our 2025/2026 budget, volunteer opportunities, and our fundraising needs for the year.

The Mary Lin Education Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created in 2025. Prior to 2025, Mary Lin had two separate parent organizations: the Mary Lin Education Foundation and a Parent Teacher Association. Following a year-long process to gather input from the community, a vote by the Mary Lin PTA general membership, and a vote by the Mary Lin Education Foundation board, the school decided to join the two organizations into a single organization focused on improving student outcomes at Mary Lin.
